Merry Christmas!

Cher would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.  I was talking to her last night and mentioned that maybe Santa would bring her a forever family.  In her sweetest Dane voice, she said "I don't really understand all the fuss about getting a forever family.  This foster thing is pretty good to me."  I really didn't know what to say.  Since she is a perfect foster, I was thinking the same thing.  So, if you are looking to adopt a perfect petite Dane, Cher could be the girl for you.

Meet our newest Great Dane foster, Cher.  A lot has been going on the past few months.  Thor passed away on July 15.  It was a very tough time for us.  We put our house up for sale in April and it sold in July.  We decided that it was best to stop fostering until after we moved.  Well, we are now settled into our new home and we are fostering a very sweet Dane named Cher.  She gets along great with our Goldens and she just loves everyone.  I really can't think of any bad habits that this baby girl has.  She is house trained.  She knows how to use the doggy door.  She does not counter surf.  I will get some video up soon.  If you are looking for a beautiful fawn, Cher is the girl for you.

A Note From Stormy:

Hi everyone, this is Stormy.  I am having a ball at my foster home, but I am ready to find my own family.  I have so many great qualities, that I don't know where to start.  Ok, first of all I am a beautiful stunning girl.  I am a little shy, and I'm not one to brag, but I have heard other's talk about how pretty I am.  I have one blue eye and one brown eye. Now, that's an attention grabber. I like to go for walks and hang out with my foster family.  I get along with my foster brother Thor and all my foster Golden's.  I like to ride in the car and go on outings with my family.  I do like to take long naps on the couch.  If you are looking to adopt a Great Dane, please take a look at me.  I will promise to make you happy and proud.  It's GREAT to be a NMGDR girl.  Love, Stormy

Meet our sweet foster girl, Stormy.  She came to us from the Gulf Shores area.  She is 5 years old and has not had the best life.  She is fine with other dogs and loves people.  Check back for updates on this sweet Dane.

It is with great sadness that Lola went to the Rainbow Bridge.  She was a sweet girl that could not survive those nasty heart worms.  We were privileged to get the chance to love this sweet Dane.  This is the part of Rescue that saddens my heart.  If only those who pretended to love her had taken care of her, she was be with us today.  At least she had 11 good days in her life.  Rest in peace Lo.



Lexi gets adopted!

Our sweet Lexi girls has been adopted.  We will miss our sweet baby girl.  She was so much fun to have around.  We could always count on Lexi to make us laugh.
